SALT AND LIGHT

Becoming Whole(y): The Sacred Union of Earth and Light
Salt and Light
Earth and Sky
Two made one
Divinely tied.
The Father speaks
The Son replies
Love concealed
Then realized.
Salt becomes
The path of birth
Flesh and bone
The pulse of Earth.
To feel, to ache,
To laugh, to cry
We learn of soul
By asking "Why?"
And Light
The joy no eye can see
A shimmer clothed
In mystery.
It sings in silence
Moves unseen
For Heaven lives
In what’s between.
Not in escape
Not in above
But in the breath
Of perfect love.
Holy flesh
And holy flame
Not bound by role
Not touched by name.
Not clinging close
Not pushing far
But being here
Just as we are.
Salt of Earth,
and Spirit’s Light
One to walk
One to ignite.
Together held,
Together known
Through both
The sacred seed is sown.
For Salt gives Light
A form, a face
A way to touch
A time, a place.
And Light gives Salt
Its breath, its glow
So all may rise
And all may grow.
Heaven comes
Not when we leave
But when we stay
And dare believe.
That God is here
In form, in skin
Whole, divine
Alive within.
