The importance of community within shadow work — and the unspoken connections that form
Shadow work is often spoken about as a solitary path. A journey inward. A descent we must take alone. And while there are moments of deep solitude in this work, healing does not happen in isolation.
We are relational beings. Our wounds were formed in relationship, shaped by moments of being unseen, misunderstood, abandoned, silenced, or forced to shrink. It is within safe relationship that those wounds soften, reorganize, and finally begin to breathe.
When we enter shadow work in community, something subtle yet profound occurs.
We realize we are not alone in our darkness.
